Obituary of Helen Josephine Adams

Adams, Helen Josephine - 90, Digby, passed away at Tideview Terrace on May 7, 2011, surrounded by family. Born in Digby, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Rose (Murphy) Hazelton. She is survived by her children, James (Maritza),Brighton and Heather (Barry) Kaye, Porters Lake, Halifax Co. grandchildren, Karen Adams (Troy), Susan Adams (David), Tammy Robicheau (Frank), Digby, Jamie Adams (Joy), New Minas, Corey Kaye (Shawna), Calgary and Sarah Perry (Joey), Gaetz Brook, as well as 10 great-grandchildren. Helen is also survived by sisters Mildred (Wayne) Keebaugh and Jean (Chuck) Hiemstra, BC, Lorna Willis, brothers, Bill (Val) Hazelton, Ontario, Don (Doady), Brookfield and sisters-in-law Irene Hazelton, Ontario, Georgia Moors, Halifax and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Cortland Adams, step-mother Freda Hazelton, sisters, Asaphene Sanford, Phyllis King and brother Murray Hazelton. No visitation by request. Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, Nova Scotia, B4P 1E7. A memorial celebration and reception will take place at the Digby Fire Hall, 162 1st Avenue, Digby on Saturday, May 14, 2001 at 2 p.m. Donations in memory of Helen may be made to Tideview Terrace, P.O.
