Brown, Wayne Allen - 66, St. Croix, passed away at the Victoria General Hospital on May 20th. Born June 20, 1944 in Windsor; he was the son of Elwin and Hazel (Ross) Brown of Cheverie. Wayne worked for many years in construction. He enjoyed spending his time at the camp, building furniture, gardening, and doing yard work on his lawn tractor. He is survived by his wife Ellen Baker; son Darren (Tamara) Brown, Falmouth; daughter Lori (Darren) Schofield, Windsor; sisters Shirley (Gerry) Thompson, Iowa, USA; Lois Vallieres, Ottawa; sister in law Joan Brown, Windsor; grandchildren Rachel, Elijah, Jacob, Isaac, and Kristen; many nieces and nephews, and his two special boys Wyatt, and Austin; and Special Friend Hooch. Besides his parents Wayne is predeceased by his first wife Karen Brown (Cox); brother Weldon. Family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Hants Community Hospital and the Victoria General Hospital. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at the Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor, at 2 pm on Sunday May 29th with Reverend Lloyd Baker officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home and Crematorium, 568 Main Street, Wolfville Nova Scotia, B4P 1E7.
