McNEIL, James Arthur - Bunnyì³ - 71, Aylesford, Kings Co., passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Gaspereau Valley, Kings Co., he was a son of the late James R. McNeil and Violet L. (Dalley) McNeil - Vidito. James had worked at G.E. Electric in Toronto, Ont., Cobi Foods in Berwick, and for Lafarge in the Annapolis Valley . He had enjoyed serving as a parking attendant for the Friday night bingo games at the Aylesford and District Lions Hall in Auburn. James loved country music and going for his morning walks. Surviving are his wife, Karen A. (Doyle) McNeil, Aylesford; brothers, George (Janice), Berwick; Gary, Dorchester, N.B.; Ronald, Auburn; Robert (Mary Cantle), Morristown; sister, Carol (Brian) Cook, Windermere; several nieces and nephews, Besides his parents he was predeceased by a step-father, Milford Vidito. Visitation for James will take place from 7-9 p.m., Thursday, in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), from where the funeral service will take place at 2 p.m., Friday, May 27. Rev. Clyde Lowe officiating, with burial in the Aylesford Union Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to the Aylesford and District Lions Club.
