McDougall, Lloyd Edward - 77, New Minas, Kings Co., passed away peacefully in the Valley Regional Hospital on Wednesday May 25, 2011. Born in Pleasant Grove, PE, he was the son of the late Edward and Alice (Lamphier) McDougall. Lloyd was employed with the International Union of Elevator Constructors as an elevator technician and worked for Otis and Schindler where he retired in 1995. He is survived by his wife Joan (Greenough), sons Michael (Renee), ON; Ricky (Lori), Brooklyn; daughters Susan (Brian) Greenough, New Minas; Deborah Hatchard, Ellershouse; Jeannie Greenough Rehberg, Windsor, Darlene (Malcolm) Brownell, New Minas; sister Beatrice (Sterling) Colwill, BC; grandchildren Danielle, Lindsay, Melissa, Billy Ray, Candace, Nicholas, Shelby, Ryan, Ricky, Lennie, Nathan, Ashlee; god children Marion, and Doreen; great grandchild Kyra, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Christine; daughter Marie; and brother Francis Michael (Frankie). There will be a visitation at the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, Nova Scotia, B4P 1E7; on Sunday, May 29, 2011 from 6 - 8 p.m. A service will be held at this location on Monday, May 30th at 1 p.m. with Lay Chaplain Jim Norton officiating with a burial in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill.
