Obituary of Sherry Lynn Little

LITTLE (De'Ell), Sherry Lynn, 43 - Berwick, passed away Wednesday evening, June 8, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 27, 1967 in Kentville, she is survived by husband Randy, daughters Reanne Michelle, 17, and Amber Lee Marie, 10; mother Mary Ellen De'Ell, and sister Kim De?¢Ell. She was predeceased by father Robert De'Ell; and stepfather Art De'Ell. Sherry was trained in Cosmetology at the Kingstec Community College, Kentville, and enjoyed working in her trade until her illness. Sherry was an avid Frenchy's shopper and could spend hours digging through the bins. She was a beloved wife and mother, more than anything adoring her family. Her children were her pride and joy. Sherry had a wonderful sense of humour and was devoted to her friends and community. She will be greatly missed by all. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Lynn Burgess and Dr. Bustin, and all of the VON nurses for the loving and attentive care given to Sherry. Sherry and her family were blessed through her illness with the support of their family, friends, and local community. A visitation for Sherry was held on Friday June 10th, 2011 from 7:00 - 9:00pm in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900) where a funeral service was held Saturday June 11th at 4:00pm with the Reverend Layton MacDonald officiating, a reception followed. A private family burial took place in the Berwick Cemetery. Donations in Sherry?¢s memory, may be made to the Berwick and District Volunteer Fire Department in support of her children?¢s trust fund.
