Obituary of David Nelson Shepherd

Shepherd, David Nelson - of Clementsport passed away on June 26, 2011. Born in Thunder Bay in 1932 David was happiest tramping around outdoors. He farmed in Manitoba before working in Forestry, as a Ranger, and then in Fisheries. He loved to work in the forests of Manitoba and on the Mackenzie River in Canada's north. The past twenty years were spent in rural Nova Scotia on his large wood lot enjoying the views of the Annapolis Basin. David was a gentle man and a gentleman. He was thoughtful, curious , well read, a student of planet Earth and a steward of the land. Deeply mourned by his partner of three decades, Lorelei Robins; her children, Gregory and Stephanie; his Manitoba family, Margaret; and daughters Dawn , Sharon , Heather; their spouses; and grandson Cameron (Anna).
