Obituary of Robert Legge

Legge, Robert Peter - 52, passed away suddenly in his home in Port Williams, on Monday, June 27, 2011. Born in Berwick, he was the son of Jessie Barkhouse and the late Harold Legge. Bobby worked for his father for 23 years at Legge Transport; and after his dad passed away, in 1993, Bobby took over and maintained a division of the well-known family business. Bobby loved his pet dogs and cat, as well he enjoyed fishing and had a passion for Nascar. Bobby will be greatly missed by his mother and his wife Stephanie (Neate), Port Williams; daughters Lonna, Alberta, Megon and Jenna, Saint John, NB; brothers Larry (Theresa), Port Williams; David, Manitoba; sister Anna (Jeff), Toronto, ON; father and mother-in-law Roger and Audrey Neate, Halifax; brothers-in-law, Rob (Leslie) Neate, Dartmouth; Neill (Karen) Neate, North Bay, ON; 3 grandsons; aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, Nova Scotia B4P 1E7, at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 1, 2011, with Reverend Terry Coldwell officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made through the funeral home to a trust account in Bobby's memory.
