Nicholson, Geoffrey Scott - 55, of Glenmont, Nova Scotia passed away peacefully July 2, 2011 at home with his faithful dog Hank at his side, just as he wanted. Geoff was born February 4, 1956 in Halifax Nova Scotia. He moved to Kentville in his early teens and made the area his lifelong home. Enthusiastic and a great talker he became a familiar face and friend to all ages. Whether playing sports, chicken catching, working at Cornwallis Dairy or driving the - worm wagonì³, Geoffrey went about his life with an energy few possess. Short of stature but big on heart, there will never be a more loyal friend, and behind everything was the music! Geoffrey was predeceased by his adoptive parents Clyde and Adele Nicholson. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Emily (Jeremy) Duff and grandchildren Olivia and Ryder, Cornwall, Ont. several aunts, uncles and cousins, also adoptive sister Nancy (Greg) Pilon. Geoff?¢s extended family - his friends - is endless, with far too many to name. Dougie was like a brother, Cheryl was like a sister and Debbie was like a wife. A special thanks to Daryl, a true friend. Wendy and Jude will never forget Geoffrey. A celebration of Geoff?¢s life will be held Saturday July 9th, at 2:00pm at the Old English Tavern, Kentville, as he wanted. So whether you knew him as - King of the Promì³, 1973/74 Best Midget Defenseman 1972 /73, - Uncle Dirtballì³ or - the coolest guy at schoolì³ please come out and share some memories of Geoff.
