Davidson, Gordon Lenley - 86 , of Gaspereau Mountain, Kings County passed away Tuesday July 5, 2011 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Gaspereau he was a son of the late Rodney and Vera (Coldwell) Davidson. Gordon was a resident of Gaspereau Mountain his entire life. He was a devoted husband, understanding father and a consummate friend to many. Gordon was faithful member of the Grand Pre Congregation of Jehovah?¢s Witnesses. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lillian, son David (Gina), step-daughter Anna (James), granddaughters Adria and Dana, sister Christina and brothers Angus, Veron, Malcolm and Murray. Besides his parents he is predeceased by his sister Blanch and brothers Maynard, Lawrence, Lormer, and Harland. Cremation has taken place, and by request of the family there is no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 568 Main Street Wolfville Nova Scotia, B4P 1E7 at 2:00pm Saturday July 9th 2011, with Mr. Marshall Schofield officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date. Donations can be made in Gordon?¢s memory to the Grand Pre Kingdom Hall of Jehovah?¢s Witnesses.
