GREENOUGH, Pauline Phylis - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother Pauline Greenough, 79, of Mount Denson, Hants Co. Born July 3, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Jane (Wells) Sloan. She was employed as a telegraph operator in Windsor, and later worked at Sid?¢s Canteen. She also operated the Windsor Arcade from which she retired. A powerful example of determination and resilience, she fought many challenging health issues until she could fight no more. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her three sons, Andrew Greenough, Mt. Denson; Rodney (Wanda) Greenough, St. Albert, AB; Michael (Joann) Greenough, Mt. Denson; daughter, Cheryl Anne Greenough, Mt. Denson; two grandsons, Jamie Moore and Connor Greenough; sister, Eileen Dickie, Amherst along with her extended family of brother and sisters. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Ken Greenough (1982). Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request. A family burial will take place in the Mount Denson Cemetery. All are welcome to attend a time of fellowship at the Hants West Ground Search & Rescue, 821 Hwy #1, Mount Denson, on Tuesday, July 19, from 3-5 pm. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the staff at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, as well as a special thank you to Madelon Rafuse who supported the family and Pauline throughout her time of need. The family would also like to express their sincere appreciation to the exceptional caregivers who supported Pauline allowing her to remain at home for the last six years.
