HILTZ, Florence L. - 94, Berwick, Kings Co., passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2011, in Grand View Manor, Berwick. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and doted on her grandchildren. Florence enjoyed her time spent at the South Berwick Women?¢s Institute and became a life member. In 2000, she also received a UCW Life Membership. Florence was predeceased by her husband, Perry; sons, Richard and Perry Stephen. Born in Aylesford, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Ida Loomer and lost her siblings, Charlie, Everette, and Howard Loomer, Lulu (Leslie) Foster, Laura (Howard) Foster and Maude (Ambrose) Nichols. Florence is survived by her sisters, Gertrude (Gordon) Cook and Patricia Loomer of Berwick. She has one daughter, Rosalie (Gary) Schrader, Brandon, Man.; grandchildren, April (Pat) Pulak, Brandon, Man.; Jeremy (Sarah) Schrader, Calgary Alta.; Dawn (Scott) Leslie, Ont.; Tammy (Mike) Szwed Coldbrook; Angela Hiltz, Halifax; David Hiltz, New Minas; many great-grandchildren. Visitation for Florence will take place from 2-3 p.m., Tuesday, August 16, followed by the funeral service at 3 p.m., both in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), Reverend Linda Winton officiating, with burial in Berwick Cemetery.
