WALSH, Janet Rosemary (Harris) - 69, Canning formerly of Greenfield passed away August 18, 2011 in Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Greenfield she was a daughter of the late Roy and Lillian (Bezanson) Harris. Janet loved her gardens at home. Her family was her pride and joy and they meant everything to her. She will be sadly missed by all. Janet is survived by sons, Bradford (Muriel Travis) Canning, granddaughter Makena Rueff; Dell Jr (Kim Forsythe), Centreville, grandchildren, Jamie Lee, Brandon Walsh and Damien Forsythe; Shannon (Natasha), Canning, grandchildren Alicia Webber and Trai Walsh; daughters, Charmine (Trevor) Hanson, Airdrie, Alta., grandchildren Nakita McKinlay-Hanson and Kyla Hanson; Lillian Newcomb, Florida, grandchildren Scott Newcombe, Brian Newcombe and Tracey Haggerty; Juanita?¢s children, Deborah Kaplan, Dena Kaplan and Krystal-Dayle Walsh and seven great grandchildren; brother Maurice (Patsy) Harris, Greenfield; sisters Peggy Bennett, British Columbia, Shirley Ann (Eric) Hughes, Hantsport; half sisters, Bertha Gaul, Frances Tracy; half brother Claude Murray; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Janet was predeceased by her husband Adelbert Walsh; sons, Keith Roy and Joseph Walsh; daughter, Juanita; brother Ronald Harris; sister Dorothy; half sisters Hasel Murray and Greta Benjamin . A funeral memorial service will be held Saturday August 20, at 11:00 am. In Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Wolfville with John Holleman officiating. Burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in Janet?¢s memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association.
