TONEY, Regina Agnes (Copage) - 90, Berwick formerly of Annapolis Valley First Nation, Cambridge passed away August 20, 2011 in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Lennox Island First Nation, Prince Edward Island she was a daughter of the late John and Sarah (Bernard) Copage. Regina is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was also a surviving member of Shubenacadie Indian Residential School. Regina loved to play Bingo and enjoyed flowers and gardens. She loved spending time with family and her grandchildren - Wee Onesì³. She is survived by daughters Eileen Lloyd, Waterville, Sandra Usher, Cambridge; sons Gerald, Brian, Wayne (Dee), Mark (Charlene) all of Cambridge; 26 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and one great great grandson; daughter-in-law Marilyn Toney, Cambridge and son-in-law Terry Canning, Lumby, BC; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Regina was predeceased by her husband Bernard; sons David, Allan and a son in infancy; daughter Lorane and three daughters in infancy; son-in-laws Garnet Lloyd and Robert Usher. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday August 22, 2011 in Serenity Lindsay funeral home, Berwick. A funeral service mass will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 120 Mill St., Berwick with Rev. Fr. Larry Pitcher officiating. Interment will take place in St. Bernadette's Cemetery, Annapolis Valley First Nation, Cambridge Station. Donations in memory of Regina may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or charity of one?¢s choice.
