Dillman (Corbett), Janet Ena (Forsythe) - 90, Wolfville, passed away peacefully in the Wolfville Nursing Home on Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Born in Wolfville, she was the daughter of the late Wylie and Blanche (Minard) Forsythe. Janet graduated from Grace Maternity Nursing School in 1946. She worked as a nurse in many areas including Truro, Wolfville, the Nova Scotia Hospital, and New Jersey. Janet loved gardening, reading, singing, and listening to music. Her family was very important to her and she enjoyed family gatherings with her extended - Forsythe쳌 family, family trips and walks. She is survived by her sister Marguerite (Oscar) Andrews, Digby; daughter in law Brenda (Corbett) Hillier, Dartmouth; grandchildren Michelle Corbett, Dartmouth; Allison (Todd) Bennett, Dartmouth; great grandchildren Elisha; Emily; Zoey; and Kristin Bennett; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Janet is predeceased by her husband?¢s Douglas Dillman, and Norman Corbett; son Micheal Corbett; brothers Graydon; Randolph; Gordon; LeRoy; Victor; Clyde; Clifford; and Malcolm; sisters Ruth; Hope; and Grace. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 3 p.m. in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Wolfville with Reverend Robyn Brown-Hewitt officiating; followed by a reception. After the reception family and friends will gather in the Willowbank Cemetery for the interment. Donations in Janet?¢s memory may be made to the Greenwich United Church.
