Fraser, Hilda Mae (Woodworth) - 100, of Habitant, Kings County passed away peacefully on September 11, 2011 at Evergreen Home for Special Care with her family by her side. Born in Glenmont on July 27, 1911, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn (Brewster) Woodworth. Hilda was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She worked for several years at the Blanchard Fraser Memorial Hospital in Kentville. Hilda?¢s hobby was her home and she enjoyed looking after it and taking care of her family. She will be remembered as being an excellent mom and will be dearly missed by her girls, Jean Schofield, Kentville; Connie (Ken) Bayers, Dartmouth; seven grandchildren; 11 great grand children, and three great great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Jim, daughter Olive, great grandson Donald; sisters Vera; Flora; Lillian; and brothers Walter; Carl; Earl, and Vernon. Visitation will be held on September 13, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home Chapel, Wolfville where a funeral service will be held on September 14, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Mr. Eric Lockhart and Mr. Wayne Hutchison officiating. Following a reception the burial will take place at the Habitant Cemetery. Family flowers only please, however, donations in Hilda?¢s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
