Lawrence, Arthur George "Leif" - 82, Wolfville formerly of Hantsport passed away September 14, 2011 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Falmouth he was a son of the late George and Anna (Lockhart) Lawrence. Leif was a career army officer. He is survived by his wife Melba (Hunt); daughters Linda (Charles) Berthiaume, Ottawa; Sandy (Steve) Lachance, Ottawa; step son Glenn (Melanie) Eyre, Windsor, Ont.; sisters Christine Lawrence, Halifax, Geraldine Buchanan, Moncton; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Besides his parents Leif was predeceased by a brother Harold. There will be no visitation or funeral by request. Interment will take place in the Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Serenity Lindsay Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, Nova Scotia B4P 1E7.
