Connors, Brenda Joyce - 70, of Cambridge, passed away in her home on Friday, November 4, 2011. Born in Aylesford on March 14, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Charles St. Clair and Geraldine (Coulter) Parker. Brenda was a member of the Cambridge United Baptist Church and for many years was a - Hodge Podge쳌 singer in the church choir. She belonged to the Women?¢s Institute. Brenda was a home maker and enjoyed raising her children as well as her sister Cindy from two weeks of age. Everyone will remember her for her beautiful blue eyes and her laugh. Brenda enjoyed company and you were always welcome at her kitchen table to have coffee or tea and help her with her morning Lexicon. She was a dear soul and will be missed by all who knew her. Surviving are her sons, David (Lucy), Kentville; Steven (Elaine), Cambridge; daughters, Cathy (Stanley) Hirtle, Kamloops, BC; Tami, Berwick; Teena (Mike Chapman), Cambridge; sisters, Cindy (Lonnie) Power, Greenwich; brothers, Gary (Brenda Graves) Parker, Berwick; Dale (Lynne) Parker, Greenwood; Anthony (Bev) Parker, Mount Uniacke; Vance (Ann McKenna) Parker, Berwick; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Brenda is predeceased by her husband Donnie, and her great granddaughter, Alexis. Visitation will take place in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home and Crematorium, Berwick; from 7-9 pm on Monday, November 7, 2011. A funeral service will be held in the Cambridge United Baptist Church, 5981 Hwy#1, Cambridge, NS on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 2 pm followed by burial in the Cambridge Baptist Church Cemetery; with Reverend Garnet Parker officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home and Crematorium, 192 Commercial Street, Berwick, Nova Scotia B0P 1E0.
