Rodgers, Charles Vincent - 80, of Brookfield; passed away in the Colchester Regional Hospital on Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Born in St. John?¢s, Nfld; he was a son of the late James and Genevieve (O?¢Brien) Rodgers. Charles is survived by his wife of 47 years, Anne (Doyle); sons, Vincent (Mary), Rocky Mountain House, AB; David (Tina), Edmonton, Alberta; Charles (Joy), Kingston, NS; daughter, Elaine (Albert) Baker, Maitland, NS; sister, Bridget Kujbida, Miscouche, PE; Margaret (Davey) George, Chesapeake Bay, West Virginia; grandchildren, Matthew, Maria, Gregory, James; great grandchildren, Lily, Sadie; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he is predeceased by brothers, Albert, James, Kevin; sisters, Mary, Genevieve, and Annie. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Selma United Church Cemetery with Darryl Dykens officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home and Crematorium, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, Nova Scotia B4P 1E7.
