Obituary of Beulah Best

BEST, Beulah May-78, Weston, Kings County, Nova Scotia, passed away at home on January 18, 2012. Born in Berwick, Kings County on June 23, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Ina (Swindell) Swindell, Burlington. Beulah & Don resided for many years in Dorval Quebec before retiring to his beloved farm in Weston in 1985. Surviving are her children, Brian (Henrietta Donkersgoed), Regina, Sask; Jayne Elliott, Waterloo, Ontario; Bruce (Norine), Edmonton, AB; grandchildren David Elliott, Windsor, ON; Ian Elliott, Windsor, ON; brothers Warren Swindell, Burlington; Willis Swindell (Florence), Burlington; sister, Dorothy Hudgins, Grand View Manor, Berwick; sister??in-law Rita Swindell, Coldbrook. Besides her parents, Beulah is predeceased by her husband Donald; brothers Paul; Ronald; infant sister Edna. As per the family?¢s request there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick on Saturday January 21, 2012 at 2:00 pm followed by interment at the Burlington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Beulah?¢s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Weston Community Hall or the charity of your choice.
