BOERSMA, Megan Lena (Stockley) - 27, Kentville passed away suddenly on Wednesday February 1, 2012 at home. Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia Megan was a daughter of Alfred and Patsy (Crowdis) Stockley. Megan was a wonderful loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. She was truly an angel whose smile affected all that knew and loved her. Megan was a nurse at the Kings Regional Rehabilitation Center and previously at Evergreen Home for Special Care and Valley Regional Hospital. Megan is survived by her husband Jamie; her pride and joy, her children son William and daughter Allyson; parents Alfred and Patsy (Crowdis) Stockley, Kingsport; Brother Christopher and nephew Taevan; Father and Mother in law Cory and Janet Boersma, Canning; Brother-in-law Jeff Boersma; Sister-in-law Jennifer Boersma; paternal grandparents Clansey and Sadie Stockley; maternal grandmother Sadie Crowdis; aunts and uncles - Marge & Timmy Spencer, Susan & Everett (Godfather) Spencer, Claudette Stockley, Margaret Rose & Donnie MacRae, Sharon & Magee MacFarlane, Vern & Christine Stockley,Clarence & Kathy Stockley, Frank & Marcella Crowdis, Jackie Crowdis, Paul Crowdis; many cousins, she loved you all for the amazing individuals you are. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday February 5, 2012 in Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Wolfville. Funeral will be 11:00 Monday February 6, 2012 in the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Kentville with Father Larry Pitcher officiating. Interment will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Megan to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
