EATON, James Richard - 55, Gaspereau Mountain passed away peacefully and with dignity, surrounded by his family on February 1, 2012 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Halifax he was a son of Rev. Macpherson Eaton, Forest Hill and the late Cynthia (Langille) Eaton. James worked for Staples in New Minas. He had a heart of gold and was very outgoing. He enjoyed meeting and talking to people and made friends easily. James will be missed by all who knew and loved him. James taught computer courses through adult education classes. He had a gift of photography which is evident in his work. James enjoyed the art of beer and wine making. James is survived by his sons Richard, Windsor, Joshua (Aiwen), Shanghai, China; father Rev, Macpherson Eaton, Forest Hill; brother Peter (Sheri-Lee), New Minas; sister Mary Eaton, Lake Echo, Ontario; grandson Nicholas Corkum; granddaughters Chelsea Butler and Katlyn Eaton; his first wife Anna Levy and his second wife Joy Millett. At James?¢ request there will be no funeral service. A reception celebrating James?¢ life will be held from 7-9 p.m.Saturday, February 4, 2012 in the Gaspereau Community Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations in James?¢ memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association (Diabetes Awareness). Thank you to the ICU staff at Valley Regional Hospital and QEII Hospital for their effort on James?¢ behalf.
