LOWE, Mildred Edith (Vidito) - 79, Aylesford passed away peacefully in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville on February 6, 2012. Born in Cumberland County she was a daughter of the late Milford and Edith (Walkins) Vidito. Mildred was a very caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by family and friends. She always put others ahead of herself. Mildred loved animals especially - Teddyì³ - Trixieì³ and - Hannahì³. Mildred is survived by her husband Cyril; son Edmund, Aylesford; daughters Nancy (Mark)Wisted, Cambridge, Mary Ann, Petawawa, Ont, Jane (Troy) Lowe-Woytenko; sister Marjorie Hudgins, Kingston; grandchildren Calum, Hailey, Jade; step grandchildren Rebecca and Rachel. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a son Douglas and many siblings. There will be no visitation. A funeral service followed by a reception will be 2:00 p.m. Friday February 10, 2012 in Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick with Rev. Garnet Parker officiating. Interment will be in the Aylesford Union Cemetery. Donations in memory of Mildred may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
