Obituary of Frances May Fetter

FETTER, Frances May - 77, Bear River passed away on February 7, 2012 in Digby General Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Bear River she was a daughter of the late Ira and Leta Rice. Fran was always surrounded by friends. She worked many years at the Packett Restaurant where she seen many youngsters grow into adults. She made art at Axent on Silk, creating beautiful scarves. After retiring she taught Tole Painting to a group of real sweet friends who stayed with her until the very end. She is survived by sons Randy, Edmonton, Kevin, Bear River; daughters Cheryl Amouri, Toronto, Wanda Trimper, Bear River; grandchildren Travis, Shannon. Nathan, Sean, Sam, Max, Ben Miranda; great grandchildren Abby, Evan; nephew Glenn; half brother Melvin Cress. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Edward Calvin Fetter; brothers Maurice and Theodore Rice. Fran lived across Canada, but Bear River was always her home. There was a Memorial Service held 1:00 p.m. Friday February 10, 2012 at the Bear River Legion BR# 22, where she was a lifetime member of the auxiliary. Family expresses a heartfelt thanks to the VON Annapolis and the nurses at the Digby General Hospital for making mom?¢s last days more comfortable.
