Mapplebeck, Cora Deane - 84, of Berwick, passed away surrounded by family on Monday February 20, 2012 in the Grand View Manor. Born in South Farmington, she was a daughter of the late William and Florence (Hall) Crocker. Cora was a loving and dedicated mother and wife. She really enjoyed the outdoors but one of her favorite hobbies was baking and she loved making baked goods for her family. When Cora was able she also liked taking part in the activities provided by the Manor. She will be sadly missed by her sons Carroll, Middleton; Gerry (Karen), Alberta; Tim, Morristown; daughters Nancy McNeil, Nictaux; Patricia Beard, Middleton; Sharon, Aylesford; Donna Balsor (Roy), Centreville; six grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Cora is predeceased by her husband Norris; sisters Alice Gates; Dorothy Smith; brothers Paul Crocker; Roy Crocker; and Charles Crocker. Visitation will take place on Thursday February 23 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick from where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Wayne Merrill officiating. Donations in Cora?¢s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
