SULLIVAN, Carolyn Joyce - 55, New Minas passed away peacefully in a serene atmosphere, March 3, 2012 in Halifax with loved ones by her side.Born in Wolfville she was a daughter of the late Joyce (Gilbert) Sullivan.Carolyn had worked at Horton District High School and the Kentville Research Station. Carolyn really enjoyed nature walks. She was a historian and enjoyed learning about peoples past by visiting local graveyards. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt who will be sadly missed by all.Carolyn is survived by her husband Randolph Zwicker; sons Andrew Sullivan, Wolfville, Randy Wayne Zwicker, Halifax; her favourite brother Gary Sullivan (Helen Lightfoot), Halls Harbour; cousin, who was a true sister to Carolyn, Shannon Graves and her husband, who was a true friend to Carolyn, Kenneth Graves, Waterville; favourite nephew Matthew Graves, Wolfville and favourite niece Samara Graves, Gatineau Quebec; and several other cousins. Besides her mother, Carolyn was predeceased by her aunt and uncle, who raised her and who she called Mom and Dad, Arden and Edith (Gilbert) Nowlan. There will be no visitation by request. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday March 7, 2012 In St John?¢s Anglican Church, Wolfville with The Reverend Sandra Fyfe officiating. Interment will be in the Willowbank Cemetery, Wolfville.Donations in memory of Carolyn may be made to the IWK, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the charity of choice.Thanks to the staff of the QEII 5.2, especially Eleanor, whose compassion, understanding and support helped Carolyn and the family through this difficult time.
