HIGGINS, Elva Marguerite (Hardwick) - 82, New Minas passed away suddenly in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Elva was a loving, giving mother and friend. She is survived by her children Brian (Colleen), Medford, Ralph, Wolfville, Ivan (Sue), Liverpool, Keith (Pauline), Stillwater Lake, Scot (Sandy), Kentville, Ardith, New Minas; grand children, Kyle, Hayley, Angus, Samantha, Shawn, Kathleen, Rachael, Madeline; one great granddaughter Tessa Brynn. The will be no visitation by request. A private family memorial service will held on Sunday March 18, 2012. Arrangements are under the care of Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, NS B4P 1E7.
