Both Nancy and I wish to extend our most sincere sympathy to the daughters and family on the loss of such a Great lady. Her kindness has been extened to our family many times as we provided service to the boiler and heating system at her home.My most recent visit was during the afternoon of February 27th. Repairs were made, well wishes shared and a cheerful see you soon as we said farewell for now. Thanks Ann for all of the visits. It was truly our pleasure.Peter.

Dear Karttunen family Please accept my condolences on the loss of your Mom. Although I never had the pleasure to actually meet your mother, I first cross paths with your Dad back in the early 70chr(39)s while working at the Mayorchr(39)s office in Halifax. I can still see him charging up the staircase in City Hall, those long legs of his usually taking 2 steps at a time, and then that bellow "Wherechr(39)s so & so" and you knew Jerry was on the warpath over something. My reaction was always "Okay who stepped on one of Jerrychr(39)s flowers this time." I left the Mayorchr(39)s office and moved to a position with Acadia University and one day who bounded in to my office but Jerry. Despite Jerrychr(39)s fire and brimstone when he spoke of his Ann there was a light in his eye and gentleness in his voice. Again my sincerest sympathy on the loss of your mom at such a young age.
