WELLS, Geraldine Anne - Gerriì³ - 65, South Alton, formerly of Liverpool passed away May 30, 2012 at home. Born in Milton, Queens County, on April 3, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Wilson and Jessie (Schrader) Martin. Gerri was a graduate of Mack?¢s Business College, Kentville. She was a self-employed craftswoman, seamstress and very good cook. Friends and acquaintances will long remember her creative Halloween costumes. She was the manager of Liverpool Dairy Treat, and a long time employee of Queens General Hospital, Housekeeping Department and volunteered as Union Representative. She is to admired for her good humour, perseverance and determination throughout many personal trials. Those who knew her best will continue to appreciate Gerri for her quick wit and many acts of loving kindness. She enjoyed sharing her time, talents and resources to bless her family and friends. Gerri?¢s family was her pride and joy. She is survived by a daughter, Glenda (Ray) Walker, South Alton; grandchildren Matthew Wells, Kentville; Jonathan (Hilary) Banks, Fort Chipewyan, AB, and Anne-Marie (John) Ross, New Minas; step grandchildren include Marcia (Ryan) Grove, Waterloo, ON; and Dena Walker, Kentville; great grandchildren are Adelynn Banks, Wesley and Caleb Ross; step great grandchildren Rebecca and Tyler Grove; Nicholas, Brandon, Rachel and Benjamin Walker; sister Karen (Ed) Hathaway and nephew Justin Dagley, Liverpool. A graveside memorial service and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday June 5, 2012 in the Anglican Cemetery, White Point Road, Liverpool. Funeral Service will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday June 5, 2012 in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Belcher Street, Kentville, with a reception and fellowship to follow. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society; the Red Cross or the Victorian Order of Nurses.
