CASWELL, Doris Marion - 76, of Parker?¢s Cove, Annapolis Co., passed away with her family by her side Saturday, June 9, 2012, in Palliative Care at Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Parker?¢s Cove, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mabel (Shipp) Campbell. Throughout her working career she had been employed with Maritime Tel & Tel, both in Halifax and Yarmouth and worked as a civilian clerk at Windsor Park, CFB Halifax before moving to Bridgetown where she and her husband had owned and operated a business. After several years they settled back in Parker?¢s Cove. She was a member of the Parker?¢s Cove Baptist Church. Doris was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by her husband of 50 years, Edwin Dale Caswell; daughter Marlene (Winston) Clements, Middle Sackville; three treasured grandchildren, Vanessa, Tyler, Nicholas; brother, Bill (Bonnie) Campbell, Parker?¢s Cove; sisters, Lillian (Neil, deceased) Gesner, Parker?¢s Cove; Doreen (Jack) Ellis, Stellarton; many nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012 in Parker?¢s Cove Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff George officiating; reception to follow. Interment will be in the Parker?¢s Cove Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations may be made in her memory to the Nova Scotia Alzheimer?¢s Society or to Mountain Lea Lodge.
