Obituary of Marjorie Brewster

BREWSTER, Marjorie Helen (Foote) - 93, New Minas, passed away June 23, 2012 in Wolfville Nursing Home; Born in Ross Corner, NS she was a daughter of the late Lindsay and Gladys (Dodge) Foote. Marjorie had lived in Massachusetts until she returned to the Annapolis Valley. In her early years she worked as a cook at the Blanchard Fraser Memorial Hospital, Kentville. Later, she worked with Ells Farms and Archibald Farms doing Egg Grading. Marjorie was a loving mother, an excellent cook and very thoughtful. She was a hard worker, generous and faithful to her Church. Marjorie is survived by sons Lindsay, Coldbrook, Lawrence (Peggy), Hammonds Plains; grandsons, Gregory (Debbie), Mitchell (Crisdeisy-Diaz); great grandchildren, Ethan and Kai; brothers, Lawrence (Doreen), Ross Corner, Clifford, Coldbrook; and sister in law, Dorothy, Ross Corner. Besides her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Eldwin; brother, Jeremiah; and sister, Phyllis. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday June 26, 2012 in Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Wolfville where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday June 27 with Wayne Hutchinson officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Marjorie may be made to the Wolfville Nursing Home.
