Ron & Doreen - please accept my heartfelt condolences for the passing of your mother. You will no doubt appreciate the fact that I have many fond memories of Edith, and the welcome I always received in your home, enhanced but the variety of birds, dogs and other pets. I particularly remember the "come in" invitation when knocking at the back door, and then realizing it was not Edith but her talking Mynah bird extending the invitation (this in addition to causing great confusion for the poor dog, Val, when the bird called out: "Here Val, hereVal"). It is comforting to me and I imagine as well to you and Doreen to have these rich memories.
