JORDAN, Bertha May ?ì³ 68, Debert, passed away peacefully at dome Friday, July 27, 2012, surrounded by family and is now safe in the arms of Jesus. Born on August 8, 1943, in Wmdsor, she was a daughter of the late Maggie (Dykens) and George Swinamer. Bertha is survived by daughter, Louella (Clifford) Cummer; son, Gordon (Shannon Newcombe) Lunn; brother, Carleton (Cye) Swinamer, Three Mile Plains; sister, Maxine Curry, Lantz; grandchildren, Danny, Mike, Stephen, Chris, Braiden, Chloe and Kaleigh. Predeceased by her very special partner of 20 years, Lester Vey first husband, Merle Lunn, and second husband, Clarence Jordan; sisters, Marion, Carly and Donna; brothers, Cyril, Eldon, Leo, Murray, Ivan and Donald. Special love goes out to Serena Lewis, Sue Gibbon and Janet Allen for all their help in keeping Mom's wishes. Lots of family love to Mom's many friends and family from far and wide. Family flowers only. Do-nations for the Palliative Care, HosÃ?ìpice Society, Victorian Order of NursÃ?ìes, or The Salvation Army of ColchesÃ?ìter County in memory of Bertha. Graveside service to be held Saturday, Au-gust 4, in Maplewood Cemetery,King St., Wmdsor, NS at 3 p.m., Captain Melody McNeilly officiating.
