Keddy, Evelyn F. (Croft) - 93, of Berwick, passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 8, 2012 in the Grand View Manor, Berwick. She was a daughter of the late Leigh and Inez (Bryden) Croft. Evelyn was a lifetime member of the South Berwick Women?¢s Institute as well as the Seniors Group. She was an adherent of the Aylesford Baptist Church. Evelyn was an avid volunteer in the community and surrounding areas and would help anyone in need. Throughout her life she was a seamstress for Sam Hayden and Harold Parrish in their upholstery shops. She will be sadly missed by her daughters Dorothy (Sandy) Bain, Hamilton, ON; Diana (Ron) Sinnett, Batawa, ON; grandchildren William (Erin) Russell, ON; Robert (Tricia) Sinnett, Batawa, ON; David (Jordan) Sinnett, Kingston, ON; great grandchildren Devon Sinnett; Connor Sinnett; and great great granddaughter Sophia. Besides her parents; Evelyn is predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Fred; and a brother Vincent. Visitation will take place on Monday August 13th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick; from where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2 pm with Reverend Clyde Lowe officiating; followed by burial in the Berwick Cemetery. Donations in Evelyn?¢s memory may be made to the Grand View Manor or the South Berwick Women?¢s Institute.
