Obituary of Linda Phillips

Phillips, Linda Mae (Flagg) - 74, Wilmot, passed away August 9, 2012 in the Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Centre, Wilmot. Born in Dunville, Ontario she was a daughter of Noel and Dorothy (Hoffman) Flagg. Linda had worked for many years as a short order cook at CFB Greenwood. Linda was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #98. She loved to travel, do crossword?¢s and puzzles, she enjoyed Television and playing cards, especially solitaire. Linda is survived by her companion, Lawrence Acker; sons, Darrell (Carol), London, Ontario, Brian (Bea), St. Thomas, Ontario, Robert (Roberta), Moncton, New Brunswick; daughters, Cheryl (Steve), London, Ontario, Lisa (Raymond), Dieppe, New Brunswick; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Linda was predeceased by her husband Leslie Phillips. Cremation has taken place. A graveside committal service will be held in Ontario at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Linda may be made to the charity of choice.
