GOUCHER, Tina Marie - 44, Aylesford passed away peacefully on August 11, 2012 in Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of Gladys (Smith), Aylesford and Sherman Goucher, Upper Clements. Tina had many loves which included her two cats Shadow and Bandit; the great outdoors. Her passion was fishing. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends, traveling, flea markets and serving clients as manager of the Subway in Berwick. Tina was a youth coordinator with 14 Wing Greenwood Cadet Camp. She was actively involved in her community by volunteering for Valley Ground Search and Rescue and taking care of the elderly. She enjoyed playing cards with her grandmother and taking her and others out for lunch. Tina was a recipient of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award. She enjoyed her antique car, ATV and motorcycle. Her perseverance, selfless activity and sense of humor was known by many. Besides her parents, Tina is survived by her husband, Bob Jones; stepdaughter, Jessie; brothers Chris (Deanna), Kingston, Tony (Edith), Kentville, Tim (Darlene), Dartmouth and half brother, Brian Hodges (Debbie), Aylesford; stepmother, Dianne; grandmother, Alberta Goucher, Kentville; mother in law, Florence Jones, Berwick; and her loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Tina was predeceased by paternal grandfather George Goucher, maternal grandparents Chantal (LeBlanc) and Francois Smith. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday August 14, 2012 in Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick. A funeral service followed by reception will be held Wednesday August 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick. A private burial will be in the Aylesford Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tina may be made to The Margaret Salsman Cancer Care Patient Navigator Memorial Fund or the Carey Me Fund.
