CAREY, Evelyn Blanche (O?¢Brien) - 90, Wolfville passed away on September 7, 2012 at home. Born in Wolfville she was a daughter of the late Edward Sr. and Amy (Morine) O?¢Brien. Evelyn was a homemaker. She was a very wonderful loving, caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had an unconditional love for all of her family and friends who she welcomed into her home often. She would stretch the family meal to welcome friends, neighbor?¢s kids who refer to her as "Muzz". Evelyn was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. Evelyn is survived by her son, Dale (Sharon), Wolfville; daughter, Delores (Paul) Milligan, Avonport; sister, Doris Coldwell, Wolfville; grandchildren, Tammy, Kevin, Tanya, Robert; great grandchildren, Taylor, Brooke, Keltie, Gabriel, Nolan, Reese and Mallory. Besides her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Lawrence; brothers, Edward Jr., Harlan, Arnold, Harry, Howard, Lloyd, Russell, Carl; sisters, Florence and Vivian. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2012 in Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Wolfville where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday September 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Manthorne and The Reverend Canon Russell Elliott officiating. Private family burial will be in the Willowbank Cemetery. Donations in memory of Evelyn may be made to the VON or the charity of choice. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, NS B4P 1E7.
