Hunt, Lynda Carol (Benjamin) - 61, of Kingston; passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, October 11, 2012. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Kathleen (Cooper) Benjamin. Lynda was a very loving, compassionate, and caring women. She enjoyed going bargain hunting with her husband Jerry to thrift shops and Frenchy stores. Lynda was always willing to help her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her husband whom she has been married to for 41 years; son Gerald, Hantsport; grandchildren Gordon, Kingston; Jasmine, Kingston; Lane, Hantsport; great grandson Blake, Kingston; brothers David (Abby), Berwick; William, Berwick; Albert Jr. (Mary), Lakeville; Garnet, United States; Michael, Black Rock; Kenneth, Windsor; Douglas, Meadowvale; Peter, Windsor; Paul, Kentville; sisters Judith Benjamin, Berwick; Darlene (Howard) Selig, Alberta; and many nieces and nephews. Lynda was predeceased by her son Steven; daughter Carol; and brothers Robert and Steven. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 16 from 7-9 p.m. in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick from where a funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Reverend Marilyn Rose officiating; followed by an interment in the Berwick Cemetery. Donations in Lynda?¢s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
