Keddy, Nelson St. Clair - (96), Lake Ramsay, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville on November 27, 2012. Born in Lake Ramsay he was the son of the late Nathan and Eunice (Turner) Keddy. As a young man he worked in lumber camps and as a farm hand in the Annapolis Valley before settling on his own farm in Lake Ramsay. He was also employed for a short time with the Department of Highways. He was a life member of Christ Church and a past member of Church Council. He was an avid member of the PC Party, serving on committees and in various capacities at election polls. He was also a past member of the New Ross Farmers?¢ Association and the Lunenburg County Christmas Tree Association. Surviving are his wife, the love of his life, Vivian (Turner); children Keith (Gladys), Hammonds Plains and Cherry Workman (Stephen), Lake Ramsay; grandchildren Richard (Natasha), Robyn (Kelly), Lindsay, and Orry; great-grandchildren Cora and Tatyana. He was predeceased by brothers Clint and Irvin. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the New Ross Volunteer Fire Department, Christ Church, or charity of choice. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2012 in H C Lindsay Funeral Home, 4935 Highway 12, New Ross. Funeral service will be held Saturday December 1, 2012 at 2 p.m. in Christ Church New Ross with Rev. Judi Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the Christ Anglican Church Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends for a reception in the New Ross Legion, following the interment service.
