Cummings, Sgt. Edward Richard - Tedì³ (ret. Army) - 65, Mount Uniacke passed away peacefully on December 21, 2012 at home, with his loving wife by his side, after a long and courageous battle with Cancer. Born in Brighton, Ontario he was a son of the late Harold and Alice (Free) Cummings. Ted was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. As stubborn as he may have seemed, he would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. He loved riding his Harley motorcycle, tinkering around the house, going for coffee with his "bff's" and spending time with his best bud Gabe. Ted is survived by his wife, Carla Mary Cummings (nee Laughlin); daughter, Lindsay Cummings-Levy (James Levy), Nova Scotia; son, Myles Edward Cummings, Ontario; grandchildren, Gabriel, Isaiah, Jade and Dean; brothers & sister: Jim, Sandra and Mike Cummings all of Ontario; numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly. A memorial service, followed by a reception, will be held at 3 pm, Thursday December 27th, 2012 at the Uniacke Baptist Church, 200 Etter Road, Mount Uniacke, NS with with Pastor Allan Orser officiating.
