Martin, Garnet Alexander - 77, of Williamswood, passed away suddenly at home with his wife by his side on Thursday December 27, 2012. Born in Halifax on April 18, 1935 he was a son of the late Laura (McCulley) and step father Jack Martin. Garnet had a great love of art, reading, astronomy, philosophy, sports cars, and baseball. Garnet is survived by his wife Donna (Eddy), Williamswood; daughter Mary Jane (Patrick), Halifax; and brother Vincent (Valerie), niece Laura; nephew Ryan; all of Kingston, Ontario. He is predeceased by his parents; and several aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial Street, Berwick on Sunday January 6, 2013 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. from where a funeral service will take place on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. In Garnet?¢s memory donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
