Posthuma, Maggie â age 49 years of Gaspereau, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 5, 2013. Born in Halifax on June 16, 1963; she was the daughter of the late Pieter and Aartje (Westerhouse) Posthuma. Left with fond and loving memories are her son Cody Renouf; partner Ted McCreadie; brothers Pieter (Lisa Pinch) Posthuma, John Posthuma; and sister Johanna Granger. Predeceased by her infant son Jobe. In keeping with Maggieâs wishes cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at the Lower Horton Cemetery on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Maggie, made to the Patient Navigation Fund at the Valley Regional Hospital (150 Exhibition St, Kentville, B4N 5E3) would be greatly appreciated by her family.
