Obituary of Doretha Mary Gaul

Gaul , Doretha Mary – age 75 years, passed away peacefully at the Blomidon Court Shannex in Greenwich on April 25, 2013. Born in New Germany, on June 16, 1937; she was the daughter of the late Edward and May (Whynot) Ernst. She worked for MT&T and Bell for 36 and a half years prior to her retirement. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Doug; step sons Barry (Denise) of Halifax and Peter (Nicole Veley) of Kentville; step daughters Nancy of New Minas and Ann Marie Mutch (Gilbert) of Halifax; brother Aubrey (Sylvia) Ernst of Dartmouth; six step grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Leola and Pearl Russell. In keeping with Doretha’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Doretha made to the Alzheimer’s Society of NS would be greatly appreciated by her family. (2717 Gladstone St, Halifax, NS B3K 6R8).
