White, Frances Dodge â age 92 years of Berwick, passed away at the Valley Regional Hospital on May 15, 2013. Born in Paradise, NS on October 4, 1920; she was the daughter of the late Charles Tupper and Ida May (Munro) Harris. Frances was a longtime member of the UCW in Chambly, QC, before moving back to Nova Scotia in 2006. Left with fond and loving memories is her daughter Deborah White of Berwick; sons Peter White of Ile Perot, QC and Alan White (Suzanne Furtenbaker) of Chambly, QC; grandchildren Kelly, Billy and Serena; great granddaughter Amaria; sister Margery Anderson of Berwick; sisters in law May Harris of Bridgetown and Dot Harris of ON; also by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her devoted husband Arthur Weldon White in 1992; daughter Cynthia Gale in 1956; granddaughter Karine in 2011; brothers Donald Harris and Max Harris; also by brother in law Ross Anderson. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick Chapel from 7-9pm; from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 10am with Rev. Tom Woods officiating. Interment will take place at the Paradise Cemetery. Reception to follow burial at 12pm from Margery Anderson home (110 Marsters Ave, Berwick). In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Frances made to the charity of the donorâs choice would be greatly appreciated by her family.
