Obituary of Annie Marion Benjamin

Benjamin, Annie "Marion" – 85, of Berwick passed away in Grand View Manor on May 8, 2013. Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Nellie(Craig)Slauenwhite. She attended the Maritime Bible Institute, was a member of the Aylesford United Church, was a former member of the W.M.S and was active in the church youth programs. Marion is survived by sister Verna(late Armand) Davis, grandsons Peter and Ryan Schnare, step sons Wilbert and Norman Benjamin, step grandchildren Shyla and Charity, and several nieces and nephews. She was pre deceased by husbands Graham Schnare, William Weir and Wilbert Benjamin; sons Arthur and Ronald Schnare; brother Rev. Clyde Slauenwhite; brother-in-law Lester Hatt; sister Helen Hatt; sister-in-law Irene Slauenwhite and niece Patricia Brannen. A visitation will take place on Monday May 13th from 7-9 at the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick Chapel. A Funeral service will take place on Tuesday May 14th at 2 pm at the Aylesford Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Lowe officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Marion may be made to the Aylesford Baptist Church Building Fund (Box 120, Aylesford, NS, B0P 1C0).
