Morton, Rose June â 83, of Berwick passed away peacefully on May 15, 2013 at Grandview Manor. Born on June 21, 1929 in Berwick, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Sadie (Ramey) Morton. Rose worked at several hospitals including Kentville as a nurseâs aide and numerous years at Graveâs Factory, Berwick. Rose is survived by her daughter Sharon (Jim) McBride; son Jack Stronach, Queens Co.; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Rose is predeceased by brother Morley; son Richard Morton; and great grandson Cristopher Ell. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 25th at 2 p.m. in the Baptist Cemetery, Aylesford with Rev. Clyde Lowe officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia (5657 Spring Garden Rd, Halifax, NS, B3J 3R4). Online condolences may be made to miss_pantera@hotmail.com .
