Huntley, Mary Viola (Carter) - of Berwick passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in the Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville. Born on July 6, 1917 in Hazel Hill, Canso, NS, she was the daughter of the late John and Cora Carter; loving wife of 72 years to Robert Huntley; mother of Marie (Helpard) and Leah (Wood); predeceased by twins Robert and Ronald and daughter Betty-Ann. Will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Bill, Bob, Kelly, and Michael; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. Also survived by her, two sisters Emma Corkum, Doris Moody, and brother Pat Carter; predeceased by Howard, Harold, and Isabelle. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place Saturday June 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial Street, Berwick, and a funeral service following on Sunday at 3 p.m. from the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home Berwick Chapel with Rev. Jack Carter and Rev. Audrey Carter officiating with burial in Berwick Cemetery. Donations in memory of Viola may be made to a charity of your choice.
