Obituary of Helen Jean Smith

With heavy hearts the family of Helen Jean Smith, age 65 of Windsor; announce her passing peacefully surrounded by her family on June 22, 2013. Born December 23, 1947 to Clyde and Phyllis (Taylor) Smith; Helen devoted her life to caring for her two children, grandson and in later years her parents and special sister Heather. Survived by her mother Phyllis Smith; children Scott Fraser and Jacqueline Fraser (Dwayne Kane); grandsons Trenton Fraser and Anthony Kane; granddaughter Amanda Kane; great grandson Russell Kane; brothers Fred Taylor (Faye), Ernie Smith (Linda), Clyde Smith (Diana); sisters Heather Smith, Margaret Rooney (Adrian), Sandra Northup (Chris); several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her father Clyde; sisters Leslie and Carol in infancy and nephew Lincoln Smith. The family would like to thank the wonderful caring staff of Dykeland lodge and special friend Edie. Memorial service will be held at Dykeland Lodge on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 1:30 PM.
