Buis, Hendrick, 88 of Canning, passed away July 8, 2013 at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Amsterdam in 1930, he was the son of the late Jacobe & Grotegood Buis. Hendrick loved to bake and enjoyed gardening. He will be sadly missed by friends, Lloyd & Wilma and all who loved him. He was predeceased by his wife, Gertrude. Keeping with Hendrickâs wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Hendrick may be made to the Diabetes Association; the Kidney Foundation of Nova Scotia or to the charity of oneâs choice.
