Obituary of Reta Wile

Wile, Reta Marie – age 70 years of Annapolis Royal, passed away peacefully at the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home on July 24, 2013. Born in Annapolis Royal on August 28, 1942; she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Lizzie (Everett) Chute. Reta spent many years working at the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home as a Personal Care Worker and worked with the VON Services. Left with fond and loving memories are her daughters Wanda Wade (Mark) of Granville Centre, Holly Marshall (Dwayne) of Alberta, Julie Wile (Dennis Weir) of Round Hill and Angela Wile (Joey Amero) of Delap’s Cove; brothers Lyndon (Elaine) of ON, Curtis (Peggy) of Clementsvale and Clarence (Theresa) of Hillsburn; sisters Ina Stoddard (Gerald) of Digby, Anna Kaye (Allen) of Hillsburn and Marion Weir (Rodney) of Young’s Cove; also by 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and very special friend Ron Anderson. Predeceased by her husband Graham Wile in 1994 and son Eugene Wile. In keeping with Reta’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place on Monday, July 29th, 2013 at 2pm from the Litchfield Baptist Church with Rev. Herb Townsend officiating. Burial to follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery. Donation’s in memory of Reta may be made to the IWK Foundation or the Woodlawn Cemetery.
