Hacquoil, Goldie Pearl age 81 years of Bridgewater, passed away peacefully at the South Shore Regional Hospital on September 12, 2013. Born in Sweetland, NS on January 20, 1932; she was the daughter of the late Savley and Elva (Slaunwhite) Veinott. Goldie was a proud member of the Lions Club in Bridgewater and enjoyed a game of Bingo. Left with fond and loving memories are her son Danny Watson (Robin) of First South, NS; daughters Mary Anne Morris of Lunenburg, NS, Susan Pelley (Richard George) of Bridgewater, NS and Judy Baron of West Dublin, NS; brother Buster (Verline) of Clearland, NS; sister Jean (Robert) of Washington, US; grandchildren David, Dale and Jonathon (Andrea); great-grandchild Morgan; step children William (Martine) Hacquoil of Tantallon, NS and Brian (Erin) Hacquoil of Manitoba. Predeceased by her first husband Grover Watson, second husband George Hacquoil; son David; brothers Floyd, Bobby and Glenwood. In keeping with Goldie's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the Bridgewater United Church on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 1pm with Rev. Scarlett officiating. Interment to take place in the Clearland Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Goldie may be made to the South Shore Regional Hospital or the SHAID Animal Shelter.
